HATSHEPSUT Women’s Business Development Centre – HWBDC- (2010-2014)

The aim of the incubator is to contribute to economic empowerment of women, which is a crucial element towards achieving economic development and alleviation of poverty in Egypt (and by extension in Africa).

HWBDC Center is to become a Women Center of Excellency and role model for young entrepreneurship.

HWBDC is already a reality, the centre open its doors in Cairo in 2010 hosting activities supported financially by two international Cooperation Agencies (AECID and DANIDA – Total grant amount 656.302,10 € (Approx.  875.000 USD Change 1.32 08/04/2010).

HWBDC host in its premises:

• A women incubator that provides non-financial services to start-ups SMEs created by women,
• A training centre that provides national and international training programmes for the African women.
• And a Reorientation Center that provides support for women in difficult labour situation.
