InnovUp (2016-2017)

The mission’s objectives were to ensure the operationalisation of an “Innov’Up” incubator in the form of a business promotion centre, the “Centre Entrepreneurial des Femmes d’Affaires du Togo (CEFAT)”, initially covering the urban and peri-urban area of Lomé. A business incubator is a support structure for promoters of business creation projects. It provides start-up promoters with accommodation, coaching, practical training, facilitation of networking with other companies and support in finding funding. Priority is given to promoters of innovative projects with high development potential. The incubation centre’s ambition is to incorporate the best practices applied to date and eventually to become a benchmark in the promotion and innovation of women’s entrepreneurship, both locally and regionally.
